Name: David Anders Holt
Birthdate: March 11, 1981

After moving to Los Angeles, David took the stage name David Anders, due to another actor with the name David Holt. In 2001, David took the role of playing a senior high school student in the Olsen twins’ series So Little Time. Later in 2001, Anders landed a role on the show Alias. Originally he started as guest star playing Julian Stark, but the character became a regular that lasted until 2006. During his time on Alias, David also made several guest appearances including on Charmed and CSI. In December 2001, he appeared in The Source magazine in an ad for the rapper Canibus, in which Anders doubles as Eminem. In 2005 Anders joined the cast of Beautiful, an Off-Broadway rock musical, as the lead. In 2006, Anders joined Monica Keena in the horror film Left in Darkness.

In 2007 Anders played the role of ELI in the film of the same name, ELI. Soon after came the role of Adam Monroe / Takezo Kensei on the NBC series Heroes. He also worked on two other movies; Into the Blue 2: The Reef and The Revenant. Anders also appeared on the CW series The Vampire Diaries as John Gilbert for 12 episodes.

Currently, Anders can be seen in a recurring role as Dr. Whale on ABC’s series Once Upon a Time. David also has a guest appearance on the Fox series House upcoming in 2012.
